Google just majorly deranked one of my sites

I had a site that was getting around 100 hits per day.

On last friday afternoon I think, it dropped off about 95 percent.

The thing is, I have like 75 pages on the site and it was ranking for tons of different terms so it is not like 1 page that fell off.

I think I must have been penalized somehow, but I have only been doing white hat like press releases and stuff.

    Any ideas what happened?

Also, what is the best URL to contact Google support on this issue. .

Google will just point you to the Webmaster Guidelines so thats pointless.

Was this traffic coming from just one or two keywords? There could be a number of reasons such as loosing a good backlink to a higher PR site scraping your content.. Hard to say with no info.

Theres been many changes over the past 3 or so weeks with a lot of sites loosing PR and positioning. Contacting Google will not help much either, maybe have a look at your content and check your back links if possible. It could also be a temporary glitch which does happen from time to time.

i recently had the same thing happen with one of our sites - www.nicerink.com - used to come up #1 for "backyard ice rinks", but when we relaunched the site a few months ago, we dropped down to around the 50-80 mark (depending on when you search). we did change some of the page names, which i realize didn't help, but our home page still has a PR of 6 and it's almost invisible in the SERPs. if anyone could help me out as well, i'd appreciate it. thx in advance
