If you are talking about PR update, there is already a thread about it... http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=647224
We are still in June and you start PR update thread in anticipation that PR is arround the corner and your PR update thread will take off.....
With the previous announcement of completion of Google Caffeine, I would be more interested in SERP rankings as our site been doing well...
Whenever it will be it is surely going to shock some people with the updates that google has been making.
Google updates Pagerank since 2010 every month for first 4 months. But it stopped it and i think it updates Pageranks every 3-4 months as before. So i am waiting for new updates. I wish to get better pagerank in this new update.
I thought you were talking about some algorithm change and i was like what the hell is google doing with so many algorithm changes in a short amount of time. Fortunately it turned out to be only a PR update...
I am guessing that they will update PR over the fourth of July but I think its unlikely to cause much of a shakeup in the search engines. After all they assess backlinks constantly the toolbar update just simply lets people know what it is.
No, I am talking about the major SERP refresh. Of course PR is a part of it. Let's hope that caffeine brings in luck to the hardworking bunch of people over here
I'm anxious to see what happens myself. Caffeine wasn't actually a change to Google's algorithm, but a code change that allows new filters to be plugged in quickly. Google expects to add over 500 filters to the search engine in 2010 alone, so it's going to be interesting to see what they have in store.
Google's half-update in the beginning of June was quite weird. I hope that major PR update will put everything into place.
