both of my uncles are patent lawyers, I grew up learning to tune them out quickly. These debates can be endless and a lot depends on perception which does depend on the individual. A lot of laws don't get enforced since noone has time or energy to do so. I will be a good jury - I qualify since I really don't care one way or the other
OK, so everyone knows that Bob G. stole the idea for Penthouse Magazine from Playboy magazine. Question, was Hefner able to stop Penthouse from publishing because they felt he stole the concept from Playboy Magazine?
The jury has rendered the verdict: Josh is found guilty on 3 counts of f***ing around and will be sentenced to 30 minutes of time-out
Here is what I see wrong at this point. THIS THREAD, since you guys are not smart enough to leave dead links the other guy is aware of this thread because of all the hits. Josh has admitted he got the "idea" from the other guy's page and made changes (made it original) and this thread is now some sort of problem if the other guy wanted to make some trouble for Josh. So Minstrel does have a point, but the only thing wrong right now is this record itself. Maybe Josh should simply pull the page and start all over with another idea at this point since this thread could get him in hot water over nothing.
Actually the GUI dates back to the 1950's. However it was not until the 1970's that a group at "PARC" (Palo Alto Research Center) created the "ALTO" that the GUI first appeared to some extent. The ALTO was large GUI based computer that Xerox execs felt was completley unmarketable. Afterall, Xerox made Xerox machines, not computers. Steve Jobs and some Apple employees took a tour of PARC in 1979. Most of the "GUI" (yes GUI) interface for the Lisa, and what would later become the Mac, was already done. In fact most of the MacOS itself was done long before Job's ever set foot in PARC. The Mac did rely quite a bit on the work already done at PARC however, and much of that work went into completing the MacOS, via many PARC engineers that later left to work for Apple on the Mac team. I'd really like to see you back up a bold statement like you made above. You do realize that Xerox later sued Apple right? Who won? The facts are always gonna be the facts. Anyway, this has little to do with this thread.
Yeah. Let Josh finish his homework. But in the name of all that's holy, can someone please escort tooslow to another forum?
You would have to get your smokes from your bro's in the other cells ST, because I would not let you have any, plus you would lose a lot of weight with only one meal a day man
