Sorry to say but it can take a while for google to index a new site. My strongest suggestion is to post some signature links here at DP, sitepoint foums and warriror forums. These forums are crawled hourly by google and it may just pick your site up more quickly

    More good advice.

You need to spread some links around to different places to increase the chance (and number) fo place the big G can access your site.

Build more links. Try submitting to some quality directories and asking your friends for some links.

Only one week? sometime it takes a while. Maybe you could explain what you have done in the last week in order get indexed. With more info we could probably help more.

Submission to social site such as digg can also help your site get visibility in the eyes of google... instantly! If your new site is already present in your signature space here... just sit back and relax, as I am sure google will pick it up from here and suitably crawl the same! :)

If you use search engine submission form to submit your website on Google, then it will take a month or two to get your site indexed on Google. The better way is to do some social bookmarking on some High Page Rank sites, that will surely index your site within 7-8 days on Google.

Remember that it takes some time for Google and other major search engines to crawl your site....however after successful submission 2 weeks should have been enough time for them to spot you! Please log into the Webmaster Central Tools and submit your site there for analytics....then just wait!
