you do realise that good majority of adsense employees are here in dublin ireland (european headquarters) actually i worked in ESB a block or so away from their hq, fairly expensive part of city nowadays right beside the DART station, they arent paying much comparatevely either (dublin is a very expensive place to live/work unlike the rest of ireland)
That's interesting. Assuming it was in fact Google I would guess that's exactly what happened. On the other hand though, I don't see how they possibly have the resources to check every site they're sending checks to. Anyway, interesting post.
*Yawn* Google has offices all over the world, any traffic you see from "Mountain View" could also be one of the 70,708 residents (According to Wikipedia) that live in the city, or people that simply hold employment there, the odds that they are Google employees are very slim =). As speculated previously, it could be a Google Bot (Test)...or it could simply be coincidence, but yes, I would probably think the same thing (Or hope) if I recently applied for Adsense, and was waiting to be accepted =)
lol ^_^ And also the picture trend of visit, look like a mountain. From 0 visitor to a number. The picture you posts look like a hill mote than mountain anyway
ye google has the most of the information of Users then any one would on whole internet! but they claim there is no human envolve in between the procedures!
lol its the human involvement that checks websites, applications, serps etc im sure they try to automate everything but its just not possible to automate thinks that require some sort of intelligence and judgement dont believe me? just take a look at the job oppenings they have here in dublin http://www.google.ie/support/jobs/bin/topic.py?dep_id=8682&loc_id=1110

Isn't there a lot of other stuff in Mountain View aside from Google? How do you know it was not anything else but Google? Maybe it was oompa loompas that visited your site...
it is not a unusual thing, google bot is visiting my blog regulerly put stats counter on your site... you can understand the client name...
