If you are doing SMO and share anything on google+ then its only beneficial if you have many frnds in your circle and you share your links with them oterwise it is useless.

google plus is not as powerful as facebook in terms of traffic and exposure when social media reach is concerned, but in terms of serp, google plus weighs much better...
