What do you mean by that? That you have to thank Google for not chaning your PR despite you have not made anything to keep such pagerank? No offense nor idea how hard is your job keeping your site up, just a remark because this can be true for many sites. I have a website that has been abandoned for years now, with no content and still PR5 as it was back in 2005. Seems Google is not that smart as they claim.

Google hates link exchange scam. Many people try this and Google caught it and they loose some PR of their expectation.
It was a good update, glad Google is still updating it and I would hate if they decided to drop the pagerank, if that is the case there would be no use for the Google tool bar for me.
