GOOGLE IS UPADTING SERP at Present

I have lost a LOT of traffic because my site lost its SERP from page 1 to page 2 and also lost some PR. Mind you, I never bought or sold ANY link what so ever. I have nooooooo idea why this is happening! It's killing me literally and I am desperate to see a positive change right away cuz I believe my site is penalized but I can only imagine WHY!????

 

I'm in the same boat.

 

I lost two places for my site name... was number one before. Not a concern though because no one searches for that.

the big G updates SERP's continually, not periodically

Google often updates SERPs multiple times during the day before and after the PR update. There must be a data refresh happening at intervals. This should settle down within 1-2 weeks.

 

Isn't it possible that you lost your SERP because other sites have improved their SEO/backlinks/etc more than you?

 

This is stupid, SEPRs are always changing, it's nothing like toolbar PR.

 

Google serp has been recently updated, we got top 3 position in one of the very competitive keyword.

SERPS are updated continous theres no fix date for updating SERPS ...

Yeah, it was good for me, PR updates for all my new websites. My newest went from zero to 4 and my SERPS are also going crazy. From #8 on the most important keyword to #2

 

For NOOBs,

I believe Everflux, is the term used by everyone to describe the forever-fluctuating G SERPs created by G's process of spidering the web, indexing the pages, calculating links & true PR, re-appling the other hundreds of factors they look at, and then adding them to the search results, 24 hrs a day, causing movement of websites within the SERPs.

But an algo change, that is a completly different story.
