If thats the case, google toolbar can be added to firefox right? why isnt firefox promoting google then and or google promoting firefox, i mean the google search is built right into it now
of course they're promoting IE7, but with Google toolbar installed If they were just promoting it without the toolbar, it wouldn't make sense then
I think you can download IE7 with the google toolbar installed with your download. Google doesn't mind promoting IE as most people will never use firefox. The only people who use firefox are webmasters and developers.
Im a webmaster and I use OPERA not firefox .. lol anyways i sometimes use firefox just to see how my site looks like there.
They're not promoting it, they just are offering their toolbar. If they offered $1 per signup to publishers then that would be promoting.
Actually it is an old news, I am using IE7 embed with google toolbar for several months. Google and Microsoft are both commercial entities and I love what ever they provide for free.
Yes it is, rather than repost, have a read - http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showpost.php?p=2718463&postcount=17 Features wise, as far as browsing the web goes, it has all the features one needs. In regards to this thread, as Google has been promoting IE7 since late 2006, why is it such a big thing all of a sudden?
Because of the google toolbar which purpose is to monitor the surfer. Also it is a toolbar that will set the homepage to google instead of msn/live. If you think about it, maybe google is using reverse psychology on this, we know IE7 sucks and google is telling everyone about it
What's so weird about this? They reccomend everything: "Google reccomends Firefox with Google Toolbar" "Google reccomends IE with Google Toolbar".
