Yeah, in fact I think Google is updating too fast. I am seeing fresh SERP with big fluctuation everyday! Gone are the days where I can rank high and have a few worry-free months. :(

I found this comment interesting because I have seen people comment how fast DP shows up in back links. I was looking at my back links today on Google Analytics and I have been on DP for a few weeks and many comments have been added yet I don't see them in my backlinks. Is there a reason why or maybe I am not looking in the right place or to soon? New to SEO and just trying to see results.

I use to do reciprocal links and the first of the year I started going on blogs and forums learning more about real estate and seo and leaving signature links. We added a blog to our site last month and I update that 6 times a week. The info I learn on forums gives me a idea of what to do for a blog and then I do a blog on that topic on our site.

I hope that all these efforts will help our website with content and back links and help my knowledge of the SEO industry. I just don't see the results yet I am considering doing Articles and adding to our site. Should I be concerned about not seeing back links.

I have a number of sites, the small sites with few back links don't get indexed as often and the larger sites, with 50,000 plus pages get indexed at light speed.

Google only reports a fraction of the links that they know about. Yahoo gives a better representation of the true links.

Excuse me for not reading all posts --

but I must agree with you and Matt about minty fresh indexing as I can see that my blog posts are indexed almost instantly or better - always within 5 mins of publications.

Yes, Google IS NOT updating as fast as it was. I have a site that is 'suspended' for the past 5 days and is still showing up as TOP #1. Duuuh ...

Also this 2 hours ago time tag is NOT when the sites are indexed but when YOU LAST VISITED THE SITE. Get it ?

Try clearing your browser history and checking back.

Wow that is really fast. Does a new post automatically trigger the spiders?
