    Did anybody notice, if you do a search for "search" on altavista Yahoo comes up 1st and Google 2nd.

    I would agree that google has the market share, but last month I noticed on one of the websites I do SEO on, that Windows Live sent more visitors to the site than google did, google has always sent more visitors, has anyone else noticed Windows Live getting more of the share?

    One thing I like about google is how it's pr goes up and down, I've seen it as low as 8 in the past year, which show it is fair.

    Google's keyword tool says that exact match 'search' has average search volume, which is definately a surprise to me.

    Broad match has high search volume, which is less surprising.

    that doesn't matter if google is not the # 1 search engine. The fact is google is my # 1 referral in getting traffics. How about the others? If yes, it only shows that google is really # 1.

    Getting high traffic is not a guarantee of doing well in the SERPs. Read up on your SEO.
