Check out my banner near the top of my site, with the white links. The colour that I specified is 0000FF, which should be pure blue. Why are they showing up white? 00FFFF makes sort of a teal bluish green, so the colour blue seems to be working, just not by itself???http://forums.digitalpoint.com/images/smilies/confused.gif http://www.spacecowboysoftware.com is my site. Any help would be appreciated Thanks, Jesse
Personally, I think you should stick with the white and don't go blue. Blue text on black background I find is hard on the eyes and hard to read.
Well, if you think the white is visible enough. Thanks for the input! I still think it's weird that I don't seem to be able to pick blue even if I want to, though... Anyone had this experience?
If the colors are very similar and there is a chance the link will be obscured, Google will change it to the default. This is to stop the old hidden text trick
Int'resting... Perhaps that's what's happening. Well, I'm not going to lose sleep over it, my biggest site issue right now is geting more visitors, not banner optimization.
