just keep updating it without thinking too much about getting it indexed and just carry on with the link building process, that is the only solution for your porblem.

I don't see why people STILL worry about Google indexing their sites. When I make a new site, all I really CARE about is getting some genuine original content on it, getting a few dozens of links to it - preferably from some relevant resource and in a natural fashion. Instead of "begging" Google to index you, why don't you wait a bit, do your thing and let Google come to you?

I've never ever had problems with indexing - I simply KNOW that if I start slowly but steadily, build my site and expand its presence on the Internet I will get indexed and ranked high 100% of the time.

2 weeks can be a pretty normal timeframe for your first Google crawl. I wouldn't worry about it until then.

get use to it, a total new site can take month to index

maybe you can try what I do, long before site release, I setup a site with nothing, and with robots.txt block everything, then start build links.
Googlebot will be very hungry to claw my site, and check robots.txt every hour. When your site release, change robots.txt and will get indexed in days for a total new website

Add up fresh content in regular basis (let say, add new content very other day). Keep on building links for that. Surely, after 2 weeks or less, you'll get index in SEs.

So many I see yell that google is not indexing their site or sites.
    Without freaking checking google!
Like the person that says this one is not indexed: www.bestwallpapers.blogspot.com
It is if you bother to check!
    Same with the original poster.
    Have you actually checked google?
Search for your site on google.
If it shows up, it is indexed!

I've seen a few threads like this lately on different forums, if you use social bookmarking, get your link on some web 2.0 sites, put it in your signature on high traffic forums and on comments on high traffic blog you'll be indexed within 7 days, usually within 48 hours.

    You all do not understand.
Google has bots (all the search engines have bots).
That do nothing but scurry around the internet looking for new sites.
New sites, without a single link, without any promotion, with little to NO content....
Indexed by google inside a day.

It happens every single day, webmasters get a domain, put it up on their hosting, and bam!
Before they do anything to or with the site it is indexed by google.

Dont worry too much about indexing , it will happen with time , instead focus on improving your site and it will give better results.
