Hi, I have removed all query parameters from my site and used apache rewrite to display them as folders, such as: /content/blogcategory/74/54/ Then, I have submitted my page to google almost 2 months ago, but the site is still not crawled/indexed. Do you have any idea, why it does not index my page? Furthermore, the google index count says: "©2005 Google - Searching 8,058,044,651 web pages" And, this number looks like it is not changing for a long while. Did google stop indexing new sites? Or is it my site that is causing the problem? Any idea? Thanks!
forget about submitting your site to google. instead focus on trying to exchange links with another website. If you get a link with good page rank, then google will index your site...
I would most definetly agree with crazytim on the backlinks ... also it is very very important to have many pages full of relative contents and this also would welcome google bot as well. In my experiences contents was always what got me ranked the fastest..the bots basically live on your site when you are constantly adding fresh content. Setting a goal to add 1 backlink and 1 new page each week or something like that , you would be amazed at where that will take a site.
Yes you must be having really poor number of back links. In such cases Google is taking very long time to index your site. Sometimes it can take about 6 or 7 months. This happened to me for my 1st site...
