    Absolutely agreed with you. if Google also used the same TLD as Facebook uses for their site then FB cant beat them.. Google is still on no. bro.

    It's possible as almost all people have known and have used facebook. People using smartphone most probably all use facebook but might not touch google at all. But it doesn't matter as google will still be number one for people who will do searching, facebook will never be a perfect tool as searching tool.
