google is making seo harder to track

    hi;

google is adding more and more think to the search engine.

in my personal option, google is adding more thinks (like search wiki) to make seo more harder. and they will continue to add more thinks like searchwiki

google does not want people to follow seo rules.

what do you think about this theory? and what are your future seo plans for that?

    Thanks

Google does what it does for the SEARCHERS.
It doesn't give a damn about webmasters or seo-ers either way.
It's entire raison d'etre is to serve up pages of interesting and relevant pages to searchers.

Google is trying to make money, that is their one and only goal.

Nothing unexpected, Google is just heading towards personalized search that rarely people use. :)

It depends on the exact search term - some are more catered to gathering information whereas some are more commercial based e.g "buy ipod." Google is just catering its results accordingly

Good summarizing. Yes google is using searchers to discriminate good from spam. Yet I don't think this searchwiki is going to grab much attention from users.

Google cares about one thing and that is it's shareholders. To appease them means meeting the needs of it's audience which are the people using google search.

Regarding webmasters, yes we are important in their plans, but generally, it will be us that will need to adapt to their changes.

Since they added this Wiki report, ive seen my rankings drop significantly while preforming all of the same actions. If there is something else i can do which will help please let me know, ive been doing back links but it doesnt seem to help anymore.

Wiki articles have always ranked well anyway, I'm not sure this makes a massive difference.

Google has only one thing on its mind - Best results returned for the searches.

So, concentrate on providing quality content rather than worrying about how to rank for something and sometime soon, you'll rock in SE's :).

Its an old update for which you have re-opened...

I dun't see people using search wiki...

    Not even SEO's or webmasters.

Its just for frustrated people who wants to find their website on top of Google for keyphrases like "Shopping, Homes, Real Estate, SEO, Web Design....Many more...."....

as far as i see, you did not understand what i mean.

the question is not related with search wiki.

question is related with the aim of google.

is google making seo harder to track? How will it effect the webmasters?

    that's the question
