really GOOGLE IS MAD, wana knw why? we hav a website http://www.projistics.com, this site is cumng no where is google in his keywords, 6 months before we hav stared a blog for this site at http://projisticsbugtracker.blogspot.com/ and tis page has got 4 PR why?
Google are crazy!!!! Nah not really, the reason is, pagerank updates about every 3 months. it updated a few weeks ago, so you will not see pagerank for your new .com for about 2 more months.
think google like a stupid is what you can do, many sites have no reasons to be dropped pr and serp by google, you know?
There is difference in SERP's and PR !! As you said your site not coming up for the keywords and your blog has gained PR. So work accordingly for the SERP's and not PR. You will start seeing the appropriate results!! Yes Google is unpredictable. Amit
Site page rank has no relation with rankings in search engines. A site with no pr can have thousands of organic visitors per day and a site with high pr of 5-6 may not be getting even a single click from Google organic search
I think what he meant was... You will not get a good serp for a common keyword(s) ON GOOGLE without PR. That is what I believe to be true. I am getting fantastic results for my new PR0 site in google for some more niche keywords, but for the most common I am down the line somewhere and the sites with PR are above me. I am eagerly awaititng the PR update as I believe I will come out on top for this set of keywords then
I strongly disagree, your pr has nothing to do with your rankings in the serp your pr0 site is not ranking well for the more popular search terms because you do not have enough high quality backlinks targeting that particular search term not because your site is pr0.
