I think Google+ is the best way for marketing e-books and also try in some other social networking sites for best results.
Hey, I have to admit that I have not yet tried marketing my new eBook on G+, but I have to thank you for the idea. Google+ is building steam. It is trying to directly compete with Facebook. I think that is one of the reasons G+ does not bombard users with adverts like FB is starting to do. G+ is trying to give users a great interface that does a lot. I belong to several circles on G+ and one, called Literary+ is all about writing. That said, I've not tried to use the circle to promote my new book as it's non-fiction and for sale here on DP. I think that most of the users in my circle are fiction writers and it just seems out of place to promote this particular book to that group. That said, I am going to write a post for G+ and give it a try. You can do a general post not within the Literary+ circle, or, can start a new circle. I think I will try it. Why not? ~Lynn
Google Plus or G+ is a social and sharing network. You can definitely promote services and eBooks or whatever there but you have to do it through your contacts called Circles. What you do is get active and make contacts and get into circles of people interested in similar things. For example, I am a content writer and a copywriter, so I am in a circle with a bunch of writers called Literary Plus. Anything I post goes to all of them. Thus, I would not post irrelevant stuff they would not be interested in. After being involved in the group for a while and engaging with comments and posts, I would feel very comfortable saying...If any needs some freelance writing done, or help with building a website... or ... I have a new eBook on making money online... That would be acceptable and very well received. They point is, you need to treat the social aspects of G+ like you would an association of friends.
Why not if you think so , not only you can use it for e-books but also for any IM related service. Actually it is a full social networking media.
google+ is newly launched social media network by google and i do believe that social media network is one of the best platform for marketing.
Yes Google is best platform for marketing e-books and also for online marketing and if you have more traffic in Google+ will help you more for marketing e-books in Google+.
