Google is gonna drive me nuts

    When I first learned of seo (in recent months) I began checking my keywords for my most important site. I had my personal site now for a couple years - it's a PR2 and probably doesnt rank for anything.

    I've been dying to get my Mustang site with some PR. So, I revamped it and made it SEO friendly, started adding good keyword rich content, been finding link exchanges with other Mustang sites, and been submitting to as many directories as possible.

    I've done very well in my opinion. Shortly after I began checking keywords in Google, I was ranked #3 for the two keywords in the URL. It Jumped to #5, back to #3, then fell off all together (site is about 6 months old now). A couple days ago, it jumped back up to #5, and today... dun dun dunnnnn - it's gone again.

    Really ticking me off. Just when I think I'm making progress I get pimp slapped to the back of the bus. I know it's gonna take time, but it's frustrating when you check it everyday.... Feels like forever.

    </off rant>

    :/ Anyone else feel this way sometimes?

    P.S. - to add insult to injury... Digital Point posts ranked #1 and #2 ahead of me for my keyword search :D
