Google is going to Update its pagerank soon.............. what are UR preparations ?

Yes I do this strategy for my blog, as many people add my blog without knowing me in their blog list, so I get the backlink. Its only because of the content, I must say

 

ya i do forum commenting and blog commenting. I think pr will always matter i dont think its dead. I just concentrate on SERPS and pr will come in time least thats how i feel. Just do it manually i spend about 14 hour days doing it. I think where google has a problem is auto comments. Just keep with it takes a long time only been doing SEO on my sight for a month and a half.cant wait to see the results.

 

Including the commenting on blogs and forums, I also am trying to out rank a PR 4, PR5, PR6, PR7 page with a PR0 page of mine by doing the correct onpage optimization.

 

PR is over-rated, its not as important as it used to be. Focus on good links and good content instead of PageRank

 

Perhaps they will be devauling pagerank as they said in a news article in the last few months that webmasters put too much value on pagerank. So, for this reason, I am not too worried. Can't control what Google does, only what I do.

 

there is not much that you can do about it, google will continue to update their pagerank and we just have to live with the results.

 

Yes you are right, still we can increase backlinks everyday and keep bookmarking and implementing our SEO strategies, it will pay off by itself

As per all the previous updates, it maybe by end of this month or first week of April. It mostly happens every three months, the last one was on 31st December, 2009

 

Nothing to do. Whatever PR that I'll get, it's a Learning. There are about 200 algorithms on How does Google determine a PR and of course only Google itself knows it Exactly...

 

I think PR still holds some value but not "great importance"

I can see blogs or websites without PR in first page of Google results which means even those sites without PR yet can get to the first page.

I really don't understand why anyone cares about PR updates anymore? Are you guys all link sellers? I just don't see why anyone would give a crap unless they are trying to sell links and basing their price off of the PR. Otherwise it seems like SERPS (which are updated all the time) are of about 80 million times more importance.

 

Google now actually updates pagerank on a regular basis instead of a gap of 3 months..
I just do what I need to do and leave the rest on them.

 

Like others I have been busy with adding new content , getting some more backlinks and ensuring that my WMT is 100% correct.. Fingers are crossed that I should get a lift across the board.

 

I doubt that, regular basis is only for the new blogs or domains who get indexed in google after they are started and bookmarked properly, reach to PR0.
Going from n/a to PR0 does not really reuire the update.
