I woke up to a nice news today. Google, Hostgator (India division),FISME and ICICI bank has come together to give away 1. a Free .in top level domain (yourname.com) 2. Free hosting 3. Rs 2500 as Adwords credit 4. Listing in Google Places (launching soon in India) to every Indian. You just need a PAN card or TIN/CIN numbers. Sign up is fast.
