I have often wondered why they index sites like yours anyway. Having a bunch of pages in their index for whois.gwebtools.com/<InsertRandomDomain> is a big waste of space in their index. Most of the sites that you have whois pages for likely never get searches for their domain name because lots of them are spam sites. Honestly I'd be thankful you have 50,000 pages indexed... I think their throwing you a bone already by leaving 50,000 pages indexed...

Instead I'd try to rank whois.gwebtools.com for keyword phrases like "whois", "whois tools", "free whois tools", "whois tools online", "webmaster tools", etc. There are FAR more searches for those kind of phrases than there are for careerdevelopmentcompany.com or some other random domain for which you link to one of your whois pages. And your audience would be much more targeted.

When people search for a domain name, they are VERY RARELY looking for a whois page for that domain. If they want to see a whois page for the domain then they would be searching for a "whois tools" or something like that (or more likely already know of one like whois.domaintools.com).

does your site have unique content? 200k indexed pages, that can suggest that the pages may not be unique. if it is a scrapper site or auto blog, then that would explain. google filters out pages with duplicate content.

All your pages have the links to the searched-for domain nofollowed. I would actually help promote my pages at your site if it wasn't, at least for the pages/domains that mattered to me. Then those pages could develop pagerank and would not get delisted

Could it be that you lost backlinks or have few backlinks to inner pages?
Best thing would be getting more backlinks to your pages.

I would say the problem is not having enough unique content. Or that those 150,000 pages just didn't get any searches from Google for so long that Google decided to un-index them... Just my two cents.
