Google Is coming back in China !!!! Good News !!!

    Today, while I was having my lunch at home, I saw the news on TV. Google is coming back to China. I am soooooooooo happy that its coming back. All my DP memebers from China, congratulations to you too :)

    No, my friend, officially Google had left the China market since couple of months, due to some issues with the submitting documents to the government for their contract. The contract of google is expiring in 2012, but they had to renew it in the month of June and submit some more papers according to the new rules applied for the foreign companies in China.

    Hmm...could you please clarify what type of their come back anyway? I have seen no news or rumor around here regarding the story. Is it a news available only in China but not global?

    I do not think Chinese government would put a hand on this already but some pathetic rules against big international companies might be pulled out.

    I don't think Google will ever stay out of China - the Chinese government is too rich...

    Plus, all that work to "filter" the entire internet for China @ google.cn would be put to waste...

    You can read about Google and China on their Official Google blog. I think the Chinese government should be a little more nice to Google. Don't worry Baidu, Google is nice to competitors. :D
