Last week one of my friends told me that his adsense account has been banned with more that $200 in it. Next day, another friend told me that he had received that most notorious email from google, that means he, too, has lost his adsense account. Two days later another one informed me of his ill fate with google adsense. But they insisted, they did nothing wrong to get this sever punishment. Google does not give any explanation while banning an account. So, most of the time it is not possible to know the exact cause of getting banned. Why google has become so much strict these day? Any idea?
Google is very honest. But if any mistake of you and your friends both, google note your regular routine work and your behaviour. so google is right. your site work against adsense Terms and condition then google ban you. right.
A lot of people who have their accounts banned claim that it was for "no reason", but taking a look at their web site shows that they were breaking the Adsense Program Policies. There are a lot of possible reasons, but the most common seem to be: bad content (warez, copyright infringement, adult content, etc), bad ad placement (using "tricks" in the layout to get more clicks), or bad traffic (traffic exchanges, etc.). Google may seem to be getting stricter, but they have also added explanations for their policies that make it so that people who get banned should have known better. If three of your friends all got banned at about the same time, it could be that they were doing the same things with their sites that broke the policies, since friends tend to share ideas and schemes with each other.
That is assuming if the OP's friends knew each other. And knowing Google, I wouldn't put it past them to ban accounts at random. I am beginning to see a pattern in this. They have too many publishers and the market is saturated. So in order to make it more viable economically, they would need to "reduce" the high amount of publishers that they have. And what better way to do it than to send that infamous ban notice to their unfortunate victims without informing exactly what the problem is....?
You and your friends always have the opportunity to appeal if you feel there has been injustice. Google does review and might reinstate the accounts if they feel its a mistake (which in most cases doesn't happen). Man, you'll never knw how and where the cookie sits on your and your friend's computers and if they find a pattern in clicks from the same IP they reflect these in their exception reports and then you get the most dreaded mail (for an internet marketer) of your life.....that you are banned for life.... God bless you...
Well, Google is not doing anything wrong. Your friends were doing wrong and so they are banned. - Digital -
Yes there is a pattern. Sites that suck get banned. They may randomly check sites, but the ones that get banned, they're banned for good reasons. Glad Google is cleaning up house, crappy sites that break the guidelines are giving Adsense a bad reputation. Oh and most people that say there was "no reason" are simply ignorant of Google's TOS, and broke one of the rules, but obviously they don't know what it is.
not only banning accounts but they are even making registering new accounts difficult. they have ecry strict guidelines these days for new accounts.
It's like choosing to play football isn't it? You choose to play, you play by thier rules. And if you don't understand the rules, you ask the coach or the referee. You also have the responsibility to learn the rules - by asking questions if need be. And to learn what the proceedures are to object if you feel it's necessary. One thing that many people don't seem to understand is that, sooner or later your site will be human reviewed (by one of thier staff) and while you may think 'I can get away with' (this or that) if you have a business like long term view you will make very sure you play by the rules (and avoid all the black hat/grey hat) seemingly smart ideas that populate the web waiting to trap those with lazy, or cut and run attitudes. Oh, while I thing about - you know your IP address is often recorded? But did you know you computers individual identifier is often recorded too. Worth thinking about isn't it. A banned IP and a banned computer ID. Should be enough to make most people 'go straight'
I agree with Sanambk. Google is honest and won't ban account at 'Random'. =.= Study more on their TOS.
there was a member here who started a thread about his account getting banned. and he does not seem to have an idea why Google did it. But when I checked one of the thread starter's signature, he had one site that was obviously a link farm.
yeah google is very strict now!! and for some reason i think thats good!! but i got banned 2 years ago for invalid clicks that someone was doing! so be careful with that!!
