Unless people are diligent to NEVER click on ads if there were some accidental clicks between friends it wouldn't take much for Adsense to track and flag that as illegal activity. I don't tell friends about my sites. It's for the world wide web to see. A few less visits isn't going to hurt me.
I think you are very much right...many a times I've seen that many people (including me in my earlier days) keep on clicking on the ads on the friends' websites...although they do so in good positive feeling towards the website and their friend's income, but Google doesn't approve it...I've stopped doing this anyway...
Being part of google adsense is like being a dog on a leash. yes you get fed.. but who wants to be a dog on a leash? There is all kinds of other opportunities online. i have adsense i dont use it, the way they misuse their power is mindboggling.. and it is us who are empowering google.. without us, google is nothing. Google will be like God-gle for as long as there are people willing to lick a** for a few cents.
one of my friend got account banned at 87$... scary... better not to tell our friends we own blog itself..
Unsure why your friends would get banned. I just checked my account and it is still active, and I can't say I have been really that active in Google to begin with. They may want to check and see if something just went wrong with there account or if it was a glitch for a moment. However, I am concerned about this as well, and if you find out any more information, please let me know. Charles320
The only time I'll click someone's ads is if I'm genuinely interested in it. Clicking just to help someone out is stupid.
There's your problem. If you have $2k in your account you'd either have to be a massive website (considering payout is monthly, so you'd have to be earning $2k/mo) or using fishy methods. If you had that much and got banned it's almost certainly the latter. Perhaps they mixed their text in with adsense to look the same? or incentivized clicks? or told people to "support the site by clicking sponsors" (even that is against TOS).
That was all I needed to hear. You and your friends are up to no good and should be banned, whats the problem?
google wouldnt ban you without a good reason. sometimes people get away with fraudulent clicks and they think it is ok so when they are banned on the 2 attempt they complain.
