what gets up my nose about google advertising, as an advertiser using google adwords you can freely buy adverts promoting sextoys on your sextoy website. but as a publisher using google adsense you cant serve ads about sextoys on your sextoys site.

does anybody else find this counter productive?

    Didn't you mean -
"... but as a publisher using google adsense you CAN'T serve ads about sextoys ..."

Google will serve your ads in the "Search Network", but publishers are not permitted to serve your ads in the "Content Network".
    Why not? That's a good question. I don't know.

It's just Hypocrisy. I have yet to meet anyone that didn't come to being on this planet as a result of sex.

And Google is nothing more than an elaborate Scraper site... they exist because of the content other people create. And they charge for their organization of content and people are willing to pay them for it.

thanks for pointing that out, my bad typo on an essential word too :)

my thoughts exactly. one rule for one and then another rule for something else. im sure it would be simple to add an option to the advertiser panel to give the choice to display ads on adult sites.

and im sure all publishers would be willing to change their ad codes to somthing google can easily define as being on adult content - they would make billions. sex is 70% of the internet and google are shooting themselves in the foot by not using its power to leverage adult advertising
