Google is a thief!

I want to share with everyone about my Google Adsense experience. I own a few websites which I have painfully developed over the years. I have also bought some of them on this and other forums from time to time. Some of them have good traffic.

Well one fine day I decided to try out Adsense on a few of my websites. I was averaging $20 a day in ad income from over 5000 unique visitors. One day, suddenly out of the blue, I get a mail from Google saying that my Adsense account was closed because of 'invalid clicks'. Now, I have never participated in those 'traffic' programs, nor paid for clicks at any time. Those of you who have dealt with me here and on SP,NP,DNF etc. know that I will never do that kinda thing. In fact I only advertised all my websites on Google and Overture. Heck, my Google Adwords spend was three times my Adsense income. So I wrote back to them demanding an explanation and proof of these so called 'invalid clicks'. I did not get any reply at all.

Well I thought it over and decided that there must be some mistake somewhere, and by that time I had also cooled off a bit. So I went ahead and applied for another Adsense account. This was approved by Google. I thought that this time I am not going to put Adsense on any of my old websites (which had adsense earlier) but only put it on one of my high traffic website (which did not have adsense before).

Well everything is going fine until I get another mail from Google saying that 'your Adsense account is associated with another account closed for invalid clicks'! Gr8! They do not reply to my earler mail and they have the gall to say this!

I now have over $1000 stolen from me by Google now. I have sent them a mail threating to sue them for this. The money is one thing but casting a doubt on someones integrity is not done. And just because Google is a Goliath does not mean that they can get away with anything.

I just want to warn everybody who uses Adsense, be careful. Cuz Google is a THIEF!

It isn't stolen...You agreed to the terms and they have full rights to do exactly what they did.

If you didn't do anything wrong, you can read through this

    "Stolen"?

I don't think so! (that sucks though)

Run your own advertising network and then if Google takes that money you can say it's "stolen".

Which brings up another point...The money which is not paid out when the account is banned goes back to the advertisers...which means Google doesn't even get it

I know it is wrong to threaten Google with lawsuits etc. , but I can see that one will get frustrated if you cannot get your money, who knows, maybe Google is in trouble and steals some money here and therre(just joking) ...

Anyways, I think the best way would be to try and try again to contact them and ask them what steps next and be VERY co-operative as the link that yfs1 suggested.

Google probably doesn't believe that someone can be honest after one account disabled.
I'm not saying you were, but probably that's what Google thinks...:/
Read yfs1 posts and maybe you'll get your account back.

Sorry guys, I was acting like a child, well actually I'm AM still a teenager who lives with his parents. It's stupid of me to think that Google is a thief when others make thousands of dollars with Adsense every year. No "thief" would give away that kind of money right?
And as for rules, I know, but I just prefer to ignore them, because I'm too busy busy chatting on MSN or playing computer games, I don't have time for reading rules and once I have mom asks me again to go to the grocery store, take the dog for a walk or do my homework.
It was also silly of me to expect that Google will do their own private investigation for every invalid clicks case, they don't have time for that with thousands of cases like that every week, but I refused to admit that.
Also dumb of me to think that once Google banned me I would be able to get in with a different account. Excuse me, but I'm still young and inexperienced, I also don't know how to handle my emotions, but I'm learning so be patient with me for another 10 years. :)

    We all started somewhere
If you are just having a bit of fun, thats fine but if you want to make real money you are going to have to start reading them. That sentence makes me question if you didn't click on your ads once or twice just to see what happened
They do actually review suspensions provided you do things right.
That was your big mistake...Opening another account will probably be the reason you don't get back in. There is no disputing the facts and you wikll really have to plead and show a change of heart to even have a chance

The person who did it only got a 1 day warning ban because it was kind of funny when I reread it (plus they seem to have put a bit of work into it)

I could only agree with this if they provided proof. I have not seen one case where they have.

What kind SICKO would do this impersonation???

Taking the time to open an account with my name, posting an avatar, writing all that bull? He's probably a professional PHISHER.

That guy certainly needs to GET A LIFE!

    Two mistakes made:

    1) Threatening Google with legal action. This basically means that whoever reads your email will not respond (sorta along the lines of 'you have the right to remain silent. everything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law'). Your account stats and everything they have against you is basically filed off to their legal department, eagerally awaiting your summons or lawsuit.

    2) Demanding an explanation. Technically, they owe you nothing according to the TOS you signed. Politeness will get you far, whereas accusing them right off the bat will get you nowhere.

    Good luck.

I liked the first 1) :) the second one is harsh (keeping in mind the emotions which take over you for being banned for no fault) but true.

To the impersonator who ended up getting banned, nice try but you spoke to yourself in the wrong sense: "...who lives with HIS parents."
