I think it will change the SEO tactics. I think the google instant is just another marketing tool to help google charge more money from advertising.

I think that Google Instant is just update or changes in showing the results, or even faster showing of results, just instantly...

No. This will help users to get the result more faster ways. I read in the Google news that 2-5 seconds we can reduce by this way.

I don't think it would not affect that much.. though SEO now have to think of at least several ways on how their keywords would maintain their ranks with the new type of searching..

To me google instant is something worst. Its better to give away 2-3 seconds than unable to even know what instantly they are changing.

Of course they won't. Instant results has nothing to do with SEO.

Make your keywords shorter, as Google Instant is to shorten the keywords used by ordinary web users.

As of now, only a small percentage of the SEO world is affected of the new Google Instant - Paid Advertising.

Imagine how fast a SERP shifts to a new one by just adding or removing 1 keyword? Imagine how many advertisers on the SERP results would be displayed? Advertisers would surely want to have his ad somewhere on the generic keywords.

As for the rankings, well it does not. Google Instant doesn't affect the rankings in anyway. It is merely on how they are being displayed. Long tail keywords however would also be a bit more competitive than before, Why?

Google Instant only works on people who have their accounts logged in through their browsers and somewhat synchronizes with their browsing behaviour/history/customization. Google Instant's nice feature is the auto fill suggestion in which Google gives more suggestions as you roll out more keywords on your search queries which makes your search a bit more specific to what you are really looking for based on the history/behaviour/customization of your searches.

But then again, Google Instant only affects searches who are logged-on with the Google accounts on their browsers and NOT everyone.
