Am I right in thinking that a page not indexed in google is worthless as a links page because they won't pick up the links?
I make my links pages more useful than links pages and don't call them links.htm etc.. google indexes them. what I want to know is that if the pages that linked back to me are not indexed, then is the link exchange worthless?
damn! so I am basically giving one way links because my site is better arranged and with more seo values in mind.
but links back are hopefully push you up the ranking. plus if you are giving another website a link you hope that the link they give you is actually counted!
You're right that way but my point was "Quality content help you to generate links" since the principle of search engines are based on to provide useful & quite relevant "content" to their users.
yep. I agree! Does anyone know for definite that if a page isn't indexed by google then that means it doesn't see it at all, and hence doesn't count the backlink?
