I had created an account on stumbleupon.com and i started stumbling on it. My stumble upon Url is : "stumbleupon.com/stumbler/gempundit" . My concern here is that when I search this Url in google . so google is not giving any result for this stumble upon page. It means it is not indexing this page why it is so. pls help me any expert.
Build some backlinks to your page and it will help with getting indexed. You can also ping your pages with a site like pingfarm. Google chooses what it wants to index and what it doesn't. You can do hundreds of hours for some pages and never see them get indexed while it will take a simple ping to other pages and they're indexed in just 10 minutes. It's pretty random how long it will take to get indexed.
Do this. 1. Go to http://dot.tk and click "shorten URL" at the top. 2. Enter your StumbleUpon url, click "Go" and fill out whatever it asks you (It's free) 3. Go to http://www.pingmyurl.com/ and enter the new url that the above site gave you and click "submit" That will ping the domain that redirects to your url to >1500 sites, which will almost certainly get it indexed. Of course, if you have something like Ultimate Demon or some other SEO tools you can just use the inbuilt pinger.
