    Hi,

I just need to know if this is normal - google is indexing my primary domain on my hosting account that currently has no site uploaded to it and no backlinks.

Is it normal that it indexes www.mywebsite.com/cpanel and www.mywebsite.com/webmail?

In order for google to see it there must be some link to your site, Maybe from your Host provider?

This happens to many domains, but on my experience it won't affect your website in any way. Google knows about cpanel, and other people know about cpanel, anyone can actually type "yourdomain.com/whm or yourdomain.com/cpanel" but that doesn't mean anything.

Thank you guys for all the replies. I am going to upload a site to this domain in the next days, so I will read how to disable the URLs via robots.txt

I checked again in google today by typing my domain name and still don't see my domain name on any other site. I don't know how these URL got indexed, but I'll use robots.txt to remove them.

Hmmm, I've just found a default.html file in the root directory of my hosting account left by my hosting provider - it contained links to the mentioned URLs.

I think this caused the strange indexing.
