hi guys, am facing a strange problem, Google is indexing pages that have no link from anywhere. taking for example i own example.com. my website uses SEO-friendly URLs, that is, simply said, there are pages in my site like "example.com/help-yourself-22.htm" or "example.com/my-idiot-brother-34.htm" google has indexed pages of mine from "example.com/-1.htm" to "example.com/-20.htm" and is continuing indexing more such pages based just on numbers, even though i have configured these pages to return a 404 not found error. i see them in my webmaster crawl error and they are increasing day by day, and they are not linked from anywhere. Help me what to do? i have around 20 such 404 not found pages listed in my crawl errors.
