hi Ok I have created a sitemap with all new pages and pinged Google, Yahoo and Bing. Any idea how long it takes for the seach engines to start indexing the pages ?
My Few questions: How old your website is? How many pages do you have? Do you build backlinks for those pages? What's your site crawling rate, the shorter crawling rate is good. Ping ur blog Use google xml sitemap. This link will help you for knowing basic of ping and how it works , http://www.reallifepurpose.com/complete-ping-list-for-blogs/
1. make sure every single page has different <title> and <meta description> 2. make sure no server error when robots come 3. make sure all page indexable, no html error, no block robots code etc etc 4. make sure all single page has content, the content length compares html code length should more than 50% 5. make sure every single page are two clicks away from homepage 6. make sure every single page has at least on back link from your own site html (static) page 7. content better be unique, content means everything on the page, so make the header footer smaller. 8. better has a sitemap 9. ping if you can 10. pray
Hi, yorks In my own experiences, sitemap submission would not guarantee anything. If you want a prompt indexing, building direct back links or putting your page links in your tweets would be the best channel. all the best,
create a blog with your website and update it daily. This will help in regular crawling of your website and also help in indexing of pages.
