I started a new site about 3 months ago which in the last update it got a little page rank and also got to top of Google with certain search terms, last week the site dropped from first page and went off index on some pages although it kept its pr, i have been doing relevent seo and also getting quality content and back links to the site, over the last few days i have noticed that my indexed pages are all over the place one day there are 100 indexed then 700 then 900 then it goes back to 100 again in the index count, has anybody else had this problem lately or has anybody any idea why this is happening.

new sites get an initial credit at the beginning, after that its sale like everybody else.

if you would keep doing seo work, you would get back the serp rank over some time.

This happens to the best of us. Just continue to add unique relevant content and slowly and naturally build your back-links. You were ranking high once, you can get it back there or close to it. Give it time.
