    Hi,

I own couple of wordpress blogs and for last 2 year i never seen issues with indexing. Usually if add a post it will showup in Google just by pinging the wordpress post it will end up getting in Google SERP on 2nd or 3rd day.

Last month i started two wordpress sites but i am having hard time getting my post indexed, they don't show up by using pinger, i tried everything , submitting sitemaps, checking in google webmaster but didn't find anything wrong. Finally posts are showing up but they take 7 days to show up .

does any one else experiencing similar problem , looks like something changed in google algorithm recently ?

can anyone suggest anything ... surprisingly old wordpress sites are working fine.

Nothing has changed. For more you can add robots.txt and sitemap.xml file for fast indexing.

This is a brand new blog, right? Your other blogs have older domains, correct?

Here is the reason I ask. The older and more respected a domain is, the more important it has become to Google. A newer domain that changes content often (or has dynamic content) will also become important to index, but it would need to have a history of this. If your site is brand new it will take some time to earn it's online reputation.

If you really want to get indexed quickly, Tweet the URL. We have had urls indexed within a couple of minutes (literally) by tweeting the post. I know that someone is going to say, "But Twitter links are 'no follow'" and they are correct. Nonetheless that is what we have seen. Also, if you want to get indexed quicker, then bookmark your URLs through some of the major social bookmarking sites like Digg or Delicious.

I suppose Google has become quite cautious about its indexing process. I started a blog last month and it is getting around 30 k visitors, however, it is not indexed yet. When I check the status in Google webmaster tools, it shows, 16 of your 17 pages are indexed.

Yes, I agree.. You need to wait a couple of time for the google index of your site.. Because it is NEW.. Just be patient and it will be added..

It was not an updation of Google algorithm. Indexing of site depends on the status of the site. Its PR, age, backlinks also does matter in this regard.
