Google Indexing Help

    I have a site and yahoo and msn have indexed it fine, but google hasnt even indexed the home page the domain is old but the catch is i bought it from someone and im wondering did they get it banned from google? if so what steps can i take to get google to re-evaulate my site since i had the domain its been following googles rules.

    check the www.whois.sc for it and see if there are any flags for the site.

    Google will start indexing it (if you are sandboxed) once it sees your links around. You can start by submitting to directories and putting the link in your signature.

    Like I said, Google (and other SEs) will surf websites and page when they find a link pointing to it...

    Check in your sitemap account and see when is the last time the bots visit your site. If you find that the bots have been visiting your site but it still has yet to turn up in the index, then most likely your site is banned.

    Under this scenario, submit a re-inclusion request to Google and explain that you have just bought over the domain and they will add in your site within a few weeks :)

    Eliminate "obvious" black hat techniques. Remove duplicate content to avoid supplemental index.

    were would i go to submit a re-inclusion request to Google??

    I checked the site at whois and for blacklisted it says cleared so im not sure.
