Hi, Folks! My this blog http://www.freetexasholdem.in/ received PR3 in last Google update. Few days ago, it had only 100 indexed pages but 2 days ago, Google seemed to gave it 400 index pages. I am wondering why my blog received so many index. Is it mean that i will receive a good PageRank in next update or what? Any help will be very appreciated. Thanks!
are you using wordpress? WP is one of the best well SEO structured blog. As time goes past and you post good content it will cause Google to trust your site more and leading to better and more indexing. My blog for example as an average of 2-5 min after a post is posted and for low competition keywords it will automatically give the first page rank to that particular post.
Hi, Yeah, I'm using the wordpress and All-in-one-seo plugin. i just thought indexing eventually in that great amount may Google eyeing my blog with a good informative place. so, should i expect a good pagrank by the next update, just assumed! Thank you wptheme, rep added! i'll appreciate every answer.
I've been experiencing the exact same on a wordpress-based site I just launched. Many of our articles are the first to come up when you search for that particular topic. I see that your URLs are good. I wouldn't worry so much about the minutiae of your page ranks. Google is constantly changing their algorithm. While there's a lot you can do in terms of SEO, there's only so far you can go to jive with Google's often opaque system.
I guess PR3 has bigger effect in this.. So Google now trust info on ur blog and thats why they have indexed pages quickly.. I am also using Wordpress and All in One SEO plugin and for some of my posts it gets on first page (for more than 30000+ results) and indexed within 5-6 hours... So i am sure Wordpress and PR with ALL in one SEO is doing good for u.
yeah you are good man. google sometimes unpredictable sometimes you do all seo and no results sometimes you not do anytihing even put your url in google but you get fast index and traffic just have to pry )

Hi, Yellowflesh thanks for your advise. Reputation added. iwould be interested to more answers. Thanks!
This might be because you have recently submitted a sitemap to google? Have you changed your robots.txt file? Have you recently gone on a link building campaign? Each one of those 3 could be the reason why!
Hi, Hydrojohn! I've submitted the sitemap long time ago, and i didn't made any correction to robot.txt neither gone through any link building campaign. i know it seems strange but i am telling you the truth. I would be glad to know if it means that i will receive i good PR in next update? Hi, Seoexpert! Maybe you are right it could be seo power as you said. rep added to both of you for answering me. Thanks!
Indexing of all your pages do not have anything in relation. Your pages might be getting indexed so soon as you have updated some new contents and getting some quality links.
People "sharing" your articles can also lead to a rise in what Google indexes, although they do seem to change their minds every 20 mins (gotta love Google for moving the bar constantly, keeps things interesting lol) The more relevant or interesting a spider finds your site and the more backlinks it has, the more it will index, as it thinks "oh hang on, people want to read this, lets look a bit deeper" (see, even Google crawl bots are lazy lol) Wordpress is good for SEO thou, cant be sure if your PR will increase, but stands a good chance from what you've been saying, but I wouldnt like to stake anything on it, a few times people have expected their rank to increase and it hasnt! Obviously though your doing something right, so keep at it!
