Google indexed pages from 1000 to 100, is this normal?

    My new site was indexed by google about 1000 pages in 2 weeks, but today I found now only 100+ pages indexed, what does this mean? Google doesn't like my site? Anything I can do on this?

    Did you change the codes to your site? Any errors on your site could prevent the search engines from crawling your site effectively.

    Another reason I could think of is the frequency of new posts. If you had like 1000 posts / urls in the first month and 2 posts in the second month, this could have caused the drop.

    How do you seach in google to find that 1000 and 100 pages were indexed by google? Searching results do change a lot in SERPs, but if you search like Link:www.yourdomain.com, it's unbelivable. Otherswise, just be patient and wait.

    Also you need to check whether your site is sandboxed.

    Btw, how do you check if your site is sandboxed other than it is not indexed well?

    if you dont loose any of your backlink , it will come back in short time . i think secret of google is backlink . i suggest you to check this point;)
