Ok i worked hard on a site submited to bookmark sites wrote articles and tweaked up the on site things.

my site was indexed in under 1 day not the home page but one of my other pages

It was getting traffic in one day and doing goo with several keywords

i checked tonight and its gone

    1. how does google index one of your pages and not the index?

    2. Where could my site have gone?

    3. if it comes back will it rank the same for the same keywords?

    Please someone help me out

I think you must have atleast 1000 backlinks to get rank

Every weekend it seems that some of my sites drop out of the serps, then they re-appear later Sunday evening. Google is probably just rebuilding their database. I would not worry too much until tomorrow.

Another thing I noticed is that newly indexed sites (and I mean within the first few days of appearing in the serps) tend to rank high then quickly fall into their permanent listing range. This may occur because of filters that eventually get applied to the new listings (paid link penalties, domain age sandbox, etc.).

as a new website, i think it's because of Google updates till your site listings get refreshed on all the data center, just give more time and you will be fine.

Sounds like a roll-back. Google may just be testing and may have not been happy with something. It happens to me on many of my new websites.
