    Hello guys !

I have a question cconcerning the Google Exploration in the Webmaster tools.

I can see in the menu on the left : Explore like Google

and when i click on that, on the right i see
(i have translated this from french, so you might not the same sentences)

    explorations left : 499
URL and indexed pages left to send : 7

I actually sent 3 times my exploration requests of my website to google, and so i went from to 10 to 7... so what happens when i reach 0 ? i won't be able to index my website anymore ?

And what's the difference between the first exploration where i have 499 left and the other one ?

When we're out of google explorations, do we have to pay to index ?

    Thanks for your insights !

Sorry you are having these troubles. There are various technical issues potentially involved in Google indexing, but the main one of them is Gogle page rank. If your site is new and has a lot PR, it's likely that Google will be eager to index all your pages. What you should try is (1) adding more uniquely written, relevant, valuable content to the site (this will give the pages more importance and also improve user behavior, time on site etc.) and (2) have links to your most important pages from the home page. These are just basic things you should start with.

You can learn more about the issues here:

I don't think Phil understood your question (though his advice is excellent).

Google's main indexing plan is to search and index the web on their own terms. Even if you never submit a page (the English term is "fetch as Google") they should be able to find and index your site due to external links pointing to your website and internal links pointing to all the pages inside your website.

But they provide this tool to allow us to submit new pages for consideration. I don't know how much it means to Google, but I almost always submit new pages, just to ease my mind. But in order to keep the traffic down they limit how many submissions you can do in a month. Bing has the same kind of program.

So the answer is, Google will index your website even if you have run out of submissions this month. They just do it from links on your site.

    best regards
    wiz
