Do you mean the entire internet? Or just your site? Indexing the site depends on several factors and the major ones are backlinks & contents. I had a blog which got indexed in just 3 days, completely new blog, but I had one strong backlink from my another site. So it varies on case to case basis.

    http://www.webmaster-talk.com/the-google-forum/69717-indexed-my-new-blog-under-24-a.html

This guy said his blog was indexed by google in 24 hrs, and my site was indexed by google in 1 month. If you have backlinks in those popular websites, 3 month is impossible.

You submitted to 2000 directories in 3 weeks? How can you reach that? I'm also submitting my website to directories, and the maximum I can do is 50 directories, with an average 30 directories per day. I work about 8 hrs per day to submit my website, and 40 days past, totally only submitted to about 1000 directories, with half of them approved, 5 rejected, and the rest still pending. Normally I will go the main page of the directory, check the categories, and go to the most suitable sub categories, check whether the other submitted websites are similar to mine, and then submit and record it to excel in case duplicate submission.

I think you submitted your websites to directories in haste. It's your own website, you shall be serious and careful in submission.

I talked to my friend, and he owns seo company.ca It takes google total of 3 months to google the hole web, now guys you got to think google has paid top dollar for there system, and employees to get it right.

Now someone asked me how I did that many directory submissions, I did 1,400 in 10 days.

Took me about 1.5 hour a day doing them.

Some pages don't get cached for well over 6 months.

Many directories will not get fully crawled by Google, some of them are a waste of time as far as Google SEO goes, if you are paying check the page you are getting listed on is included in Googles index.

Oh, its all about google index update for once in a three or four months. When you submit your website to 1000's of directories and other content related sites, you need to submit your website to search engines once in a 15 days.

When google stats it updation in means of directory update, back links update or PR update it then updates with the new information where ever your link updated.

note that google will not consider all the urls that you have submited 2000. It only consider the urls updated already by google.

But you need to submit to all the directories inorder to get update by next indexes.

Recently google updates PR, it may effect by this month end or in new year eve.

Merry christamas and happy new year.
