Google Index / Rank Blog Sites Differently

    Does Google index or rank blog sites differently than regular websites?

    nope.. its same like any other site.. in some cases blog rank well since some blogs are updated regularly which google really loves..

    Blogs tend to be updated more frequently and have more content on a particular subject, hence you may see that blogs get indexed quicker and have better serps. However if you have a normal website and you update it regular with good content, then you will have the same benefits.

    If you update your site regularly, it will get indexed faster too but as fluid said with a blog you've more chances to get indexed faster.
