Google Index Problems

    I started a new Blog: ShaswatPatel.com- Your Place To Stay Updated With Latest Information on 13th Feb 2010 now I check my index pages, cache and Info term I am getting different results with WWW and without WWW.

    Like I am getting Cache and Info information with WWW while I didn't getting same without WWW.

    I don't know what's wrong with it! Anyone can explain it.

    I think you need something like this in your htaccess file:

    Options +FollowSymlinks
    RewriteEngine On
    # 301 REDIRECT 'WWW' TO ROOT DOMAIN NAME
    RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^www
    RewriteRule .* http://blackhatbootcamp.com [R=301,L]

    Better try that redirect method so all focus and PR juice flows to the one with www. I think there's no problem with this case, since google see two different pages (one with www and other without www), bots tend to ignore one since they already indexed other's content.

    Yes the site only 6 days old and only yesterday Google started indexing pages! So I guess I should wait for few days to see everything normal. Also even you enter site without www it redirect to www.sitename.com
