I've read a few articles very recently talking about how G can now scan/index Flash web pages/sites. I'm very interested to learn personal experiences and opinions on how far they have come with this and if any of you have made use of this regarding the SEO of your sites.
really??i don't think google's spider will find something in the flash web! i'm very interested that too....
I think when it comes to Flash, it should be used sparingly...as interactive elements within a page rather than using it as a complete web solution. That is, of course, if search engine ranking means anything at all to the project. I think if G is reading into Flash files, they might be able to pick up some of the text, but remember, graphics are graphics and can never be 'read' as content (keywords, etc...)
I think the guys at 2advanced are really very happy today. They do some amazing work. As for me, flash reminds me of neon signs in Vegas. It is just too much.
Hello there Google DOES look into flash files, it's been doing it for at least 2 years. I remember a friend of mine was once checking incoming links and G showed a "flash" text in front of the incoming URL's.
