Google index my sub-pages but doesnt index home page!!!

    Google index my sub-pages but doesnt index home page!!!

    home page is pr5 and it has enough backlink. what should I do ?

    This is usually happens when website is new. However if your homepage got pr5 with some baclinks profile then I think some penalty may be in applied. Would you mind sharing your website url? No one could help you unless they could see and take some investigate on it first.

    Most websites, even high ranked websites have not had their homepages updated since 14th, 15,th or 16th Dec 2010. Don't worry my website was in the same boat as yours but it will update eventually.

    if it's not penalty, then generally posting new content and adding couple quality links to your main page will bring it back.

    First of all check content of your website main page.

    It may be that your home page content are comes under the duplicacy .
