    Hello,

I run quite a busy website but my Alexa Rank is considerably low, as is my google index links which is currently ZERO. I have viewed numerous other websites through sitelogr.com, some not as popular as my website and they have better Alexa rank by 100,000+ and google index links into the 1000's / 100,000s.

How do I resolve this? Is my site set up wrong?

Create a sitemap and submit it Google Webmaster Tools. That really helps.
You can also try getting backlinks to all you pages. This will also help you in SERP.

I created a free sitemap from xml sitemaps and submitted it, my site (a forum) has been running more than 5 years, I can't believe I have ZERO index links from google when I see other lesser known websites as mine into the 1,000's 10,000's :S

Backlinks to all my pages.. explain??

When I click show google links on sitelogr, even though it displays 0 on the site, it comes up with 12,200 results in site:www.mysite.co.uk. Any ideas whats going on?

Alexa rank is not a good indicator of your website's performance.
Having said that, here's a few tried and tested activities you can perform to improve your alexa rank.

    1. Install the alexa toolbar and set your website as your default browser homepage.
    2. Put an alexa rank widget on your website.
    3. Update your website content frequently.
    4. Get more traffic to your website by advertising on search engines.
    5. Get your friends or site visitors to rate your alexa profile.

My forum has over a million posts and alot of members...

My point is, I shouldn't have 0 google index links when I clearly have some when doing the search in google... ? Would the hosting country have an effect?
