Google index dropping -10-20 per day so is yahoo domain link and alexa ranking HELP

    i had a website . and after reading some SEO info i start doing mild SEO to it . eg.. comment on blog and made post that is adjust to good SEO .


    before i Start .

    Google Index     - 3300 +
    yahoo domain link - 12,000+
    Alexa ranking - 100k
    Bing - 259

    -----------------
    After i started SEO .

    Google Index . Dropping - Average 20 - 40 per days . and now is only 2,960 .Been dropping slowly for the pass 10 days now .

    Yahoo Domian link - from 12,000+ it had slowly drop and now is only 8,892

    Alexa Ranking - from 100k - now is 150k

    Bing - this went up instead to 589

    Anyone have any idea. i hope i did not do something wrong .

    i do very customize and localize SEO . researching on all Keywords and competition before i take action .

    so far i had seen success of 85% product listed on First page of google for almost 300 product . thing going ok ..

    but this dropping bug me like a falling duck

    it dropped again today .

    Google Index . 2,820 .

    Yahoo Domian link - 8,644

    Alexa Ranking - from 159k = opps i think is more like 1.59 million

    Bing - this went up instead to 589 ( remain the same )


    We do updated about 3 post everyday for the last 3 month which give us about 900 post so far.
    so used to see the index going up and recently it start to show it dropping so this worry me alot had i done something wrong

    Yes , i work on the site everyday and update about 3-4 post of news and buer guide as well as sometime link some youtube video to it . cos my read like ti follow Tech related video

    oh .. when i said video update . is always mad einto a post and bb code onto the website .. with a 150-200words simple text on the video but about 3 screen shot of it . :) and i totally agree with you on this /

    Well just recently I noticed it too, my old website is dropping links especially in Yahoo. But to be fair with Yahoo, I think they're just cleaning up their system and discarding old and obsolete links. That's why it's normal. If you don't want to lose that much of backlinks in a day then you should build links to more authoritative websites.
