Google Incorrectly Assessed Site

I was wondering why my Google Adwords weren't getting any impressions for a long time, so I asked Adwords support and they said:

It has come to our attention that your Google AdWords account does not comply with our terms of service and advertising policies. You have repeatedly submitted ads that violated our 'Counterfeit Designer Goods' policies in this or a related account. As a result, your account has been suspended, and your ads will no longer run on Google.

    Now...

    1. I have not "repeatedly submitted ads" - I submitted one set of ads; and
    2. We sell genuine designer sunglasses, not counterfeit/fake ones

So not sure why they think we are selling fake sunglasses??

I have replied to them to advise this, but wondering if there is anything else I need to do, or can do?

Recently, so many people have the problem of their ads not showing, they sent email to GG support but the reply from GG is like your case and finally get banned. I think you must have more than one account and similar ads in your another account was detected by GG

I got a reply back from Google to say

"We cannot reverse our decision. Please do not contact support again"

So basically they have made their own incorrect decision about my site, canceled my account, and will not discuss the matter further even though they are incorrect. We don't sell counterfeit goods!

I think this is procedurally unfair in the extreme, and is a very bad way to treat another business, particularly when we have spent thousands per month with them for years.

Even if they are genuine, do you get them from the channels the designer label approves? My suspicion would be that the representative of a big brand complained about you.

It may be that something about your site matches the profile of sites that are known to violate the T.O.S. You should try to reach an actual human being by phone if possible.

Google are tough, if you get banned they will basically not re-instate you. The best thing to do is open another account using a different credit card, card holder, name, address and IP address. That's all you can really do. They are really a law unto their own. Sorry dude.

And... they will have to get a new domain as well, as the domain listed has probably been marked as a low quality score domain.

Actually the weird thing is that before our ads got canned they had a reasonably high quality score (7 out of 10), but I understand what you mean, the domain will be blacklisted now. So it would mean setting up the site again under a new domain...

I have tried before to call and write to the Google office but when they say they won't discuss it anymore, they really mean it!

It does hurt though to not be provided with the decency of further explanation or discussion, even though I'm an accredited Google Adwords Professional, and spend thousands with them per month. That doesn't seem to make any difference to the way you get treated.

I think for this site I'll just move to Bing PPC instead.
