I was reading latest r&d program by google and its bit shoking now google is launching new site where peaple can wirte name and it will find grave can you imagine find graves through google
I doubt it's really going to happen, the records are out there but for the amount of work it involves there would be next to no benefit.
I think what they are doing is making virtual graves which can also point to actual grave i m not sure only benfit is you dont need to go to graveyard send flowers to virtual grave and give comments about your love once
that's not cool.... Don't tell me google doesn't understands R.I.P. If you are the dead are you in peace if you get such traffic? Anyway please if you guys post something like this please include the source. Thanks
Let us not disturb a dead one by diverting unwanted traffic to the graveyard. Instead let it go to some of the content rich traffic starved sites
Man I can just imagine Larry and Sergey trotting through all these random graveyards with their laptops, recording each person I'm pretty sure it's not going to happen..
Well all that information is probably stored by government authorities and funeral homes, and chances are that's all in a database of some sort so it wouldn't be hard to put up a list like that. I don't think they could do it with their satellite imaging technology yet, it's not that precise. Just try zooming in with Google Earth - you can see houses and people, but they get very blurry and distorted at the highest level, so I doubt they can pull the text imprints off gravestones yet. But if they can, that's one hell of an OCR technology they've built lol.
