Google in 2020

Not sure if this has been discussed already here... anyway, what do you think Google will look like in 10 years? What will be its importance in society, and what new developments do you think hey have created?

Personally I believe they will have a wider influence in daily life, not just advertising and search engine services. Maybe they'll lead space tourism development alongside Virgin?

 

Still the #1 Search Engine + a company with many more nice / free tools.

 

Yeah i don't think any company will surpass Google in the search engine market.

 

Google won't last that long unless if they innovate and continue releasing more useful products.

 

10 years ago my cell phone was a big brick! Now I can send email, make payments, see where I am in the world, etc.

I don't know where google is 10 years from now. Maybe there is no google as we know it. You just think what you want and some interior mind chip gives you the answer

 

Google INC. is biggest company on earth. Earnings same..

 

I think google will increase its acquisition of companies that are not seeing themselves ever growing or competing. I mean, big G has already been acquiring companies now and I don't see that halting along the way..

 

Actually no -- PetroChina is the world's largest company.

 

Well, since Google didn't exist 12 years and one month ago, who knows what will happen in 10 years time. Who knows what the internet will look like then to.

 

google will always be the number 1

 

Google will continue to be the number search engine and provides more helpful tool for end users.

 

thats scary. lolz can imagine how they'd display ads forcefully in the minds.

i'd like to think google will just be there as we know it.

 

In 2020, Google will know if your turd's has corn in it or not...

 

Nobody know the future but if google have the same efforts, I am sure it will be number-1.

 

Google will be something like Ma Bell... broken into several smaller companies

 

Google will remain the number one search engine , thats for sure .. but it may slip from rank one website in the world ... as twitter and facebook are moving up at a very high rate and people are spending more and more time on these websites to see what others are seeing ....

 

I dont think google would be number one,bcoz some 1 may create anything new

 

I think Google will be remain no 1 in future. May be Bing and yahoo will work hard to beat google but i don't think that they would get this opportunity to become no 1.

 

Who knows what might be the future.
